Krishnan Chatterjee is the Chief Customer Officer and Head of Marketing for SAP Indian Subcontinent. He is a core member of the India Senior Executive Leadership team, in charge of driving the company’s transition to become the most innovative Cloud Company powered by HANA with a focus on customers. He will be accountable for developing value centric relationships with customers, overall marketing strategy, demand generation, reputation & loyalty management and end to end pipeline acceleration. He will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for SAP to establish its leadership as the trusted partner of choice to businesses in India.

Krishnan is a multi-disciplinary business and marketing leader with over two decades of experience across B2C and B2B industries. He incubated zCMO™– a thought-leading offering for CMOs to improve marketing performance in the digital transformation era. As a prominent figure in India’s marketing landscape, he was recognized as one of India’s top 25 digitalist thought leaders at the SAP ACE Awards, 2015. Additionally, he enjoys the privilege of being inducted into Paul Writer’s CMO Hall of Fame, a platform celebrating senior marketers who are developing and enhancing India’s marketing eco-system.

Prior to joining SAP, Krishnan was at HCL, he created and led the Strategic Marketing function and was a founding member of the organization’s Beyondigital™ business unit. During a decade long stint at ITC Ltd he was responsible for some distinguished brand launches including 555, Wills Lifestyle, Wills Sport and the John Players apparel brand which he also led as a business.

Krishnan is an economics graduate from Presidency College, Calcutta and has an MBA in marketing and strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He shares his insights and perspectives on technology, life, music, marketing and more through his blog and also finds expression as the lead vocalist of a band called Contra Band.
