Ishita is a first-generation woman entrepreneur and launched CBK in early 2019 with three of her friends. Before venturing into the world of entrepreneurship, Ishita held leadership roles at DLF Retail and Forest Essentials. With more than 15 years of diverse experience in marketing, media, and PR via building various brands, Ishita is now forging her own path in the competitive F&B space.
Ishita’s deep insight into and understanding of consumer behaviour and buying patterns has been instrumental in CBK’s growth. The company has launched 10 diverse food brands, expanded to 3 kitchens in the Delhi-NCR area, and under her guidance has been a leader in introducing multiple category-defining marketing practices on the online food delivery space.
Former head at Forest Essentials and General Manager of Marketing at DLF Retail, Ishita needs no introduction. For the rest, she is a Delhi-based woman donning many hats: co-founder of Cross Border Kitchens, an influencer and a marketing professional. When after having worked for 16 years and gaining diverse experience in marketing media and PR via building various brands, Ishita wasn’t feeling challenged or inspired- She, along with four of her childhood friends, founded Cross Border Kitchens with a vision to cause some disruption in the market and create something of value.
