An accomplished business leader with 25+ years of experience, Suresh Vaidhyanathan has played strategic leadership roles for pre-eminent multi-billion conglomerates in the Middle East, Asia & Africa.

As the Group CEO of the UAE headquartered Ghassan Aboud Group (GAG), Suresh leads a diverse portfolio of businesses that include automotive, retail, food, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, and eB2Bdigital platforms (FMCG & Automotive).

Notably, the group has partnered with the AD Ports Group in establishing two large Public-Private Partnership projects in the food and automotive sectors – the Abu Dhabi Food Hub – KEZAD and the Global Auto Hub, KEZAD. The group is also rapidly expanding its grocery chain Grandiose Supermarket – a premier retail chain based in the UAE reputed for freshness of product and unmatched customer experience.

In his earlier stint as Group CFO, he was featured in the Forbes List of Top 10 Indian CFOs in the Middle East and within the Top 20 CFOs in the GCC 2021 (Khaleej Times NAFA List).

Suresh is an Alumnus of the Leading Digital Business Transformation program at IMD Business School in addition to certifications in Blockchain Technologies and Artificial Intelligence at MIT Sloan School of Management.

In 2012, Suresh was recognised as the NACD Board Leadership Fellow (National Association of Corporate Directors, USA). He is a Certified Board Director from the Institute of Directors, Dubai (Hawakamah) and is a Lifetime Fellow Member at the Institute of Directors, India.
