Ravi Gupta is the Founder and CEO of SafexPay, one of India’s fastest growing fintech startups specialising in tailor made payment platforms for businesses. He is an industry expert with over 15 years of experience in payment gateways, digital wallets, and alliances in the e-commerce industry.

With an MBA from ICFAI in Mumbai as well as a B. Tech. from K.N.M.I.E.T, Ravi is a serial entrepreneur with strong business acumen and a proven record of profit improvement through planning and implementing strategies. He has consulted various fintech startups in building payment gateways, e-wallets/PPI licenses, QR code payments, switches, UPI, EAS/MPOS, and POS systems and helped these companies launch their products in India as well as global markets.

Alongside working on payment aggregation / gateways offering more than 300+ payment methods across 80+ banks, including all credit and debit cards, IMPS, UPI, multiple currency gateways, EMI, prepaid wallets, tokenisation, UPI, NEFT/RTGS, etc., he has developed mobile money and wallet platforms with new technologies like HCE, NFC.

Prior to SafexPay, Ravi was the VP Products & Alliances, E-Billing Solutions (EBS), where he carved his mark by increasing the transactions from $800 million to $3.2 billion a month and growing banking alliances from 18 to 40+ within 20 months. He was also the Product Head at Techprocess, where he integrated 40+ financial institutions, and onboarded 5000+ merchants with a GTV of INR 25bn.
