Prior to joining Forrester, Satish worked with investment banking support teams and as an analyst for a global market research firm. He was responsible for the analysis and forecasting of mobile telephony and broadband markets in the MEA region.
Satish received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Bombay, India.
Shishir Gupta is an entrepreneur who founded KALKI in 2008, the brand that houses one of exclusive range of bridal, couture & prêt collection which makes it one of the most sought after shopping destination for women. KALKI stands for ethnicity but with a contemporary twist that helps the bride experience a fairy tale wedding. From one store in 2008, Kalki now has 4 large format stores. In 2011 he started Kalkifashion.com in order to give the Omnichannel experience to the customer. Kalkifashion currently ship to 200 countries has 400K followers on Instagram and is growing at 20 % every year. Shishir has developed the digital strategy for the business and is passionate about Retail and Ecommerce. He loves travelling and holds an engineering degree from Georgia Tech, Atlanta.
Soumya Kant, Founding Member- Clovia. Leading multiple business verticals including setting up the complete B2B sales channel, both domestic and internationally and in-depth market research and gap assessment, chalking out product strategy with design and production teams, Soumya has been instrumental in the development and growth of Clovia over the years. A qualified Chartered Accountant by profession, Soumya has rich experience in financial consulting. Prior to Clovia, Soumya worked as Risk Analyst with AmEx and as a Business Risk Consultant with PwC. Having deep-seated financial knowledge has helped her apply data and analytics to fashion at Clovia. Soumya has been pivotal in setting up warehousing & fulfillment centers, and has driven relationships with key players such as Flipkart, Myntra, Jabong and Amazon for Clovia.
Her responsibilities at Clovia include actively directing the production team for planning the ensuing season range based on inputs from market research, customer feedback, partner channel feedback and design specialists.
